Job Description

This upmarket and award-winning firm of estate agents and chartered surveyors is looking to recruit a Lettings Administrator to join the friendly team in Winchester. You will be responsible for the provision of highly efficient administrative support to the team by undertaking a wide range of tasks. There will also be opportunity to take on some lettings negotiation and property management duties as well, making this a more interesting and varied role.

To be considered you will have proven experience within a property administration role, hold excellence in terms of maintaining confidentiality, have a professional manner and excellent customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to utilise and expand their skills within the property sector and contribute to the team’s success.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Producing accurate and well-presented documents including reports, client correspondence, presentations and spreadsheets within agreed time frames
  • Copy typing, and drafting of letters, reports, invoices, property particulars etc.
  • Processing invoices
  • Carrying out timely and accurate administration of databases
  • Accurately processing fee accounts and out of pocket expenses, assisting with budgets and forecasts as required
  • Providing a high level of efficiency and customer service to all who visit or contact the office
  • Providing general administration support to the office including other partners, managers and staff as reasonably required
  • Registering applicants on the software package (REAPIT)
  • Maintaining regular contact with your applicants and ensure they are offered suitable properties
  • Setting up viewings and accompany applicants on multiple viewings
  • Dealing with and negotiating offers when received
  • Producing lettings paperwork.
Skills & knowledge:
  • Experience within property administration
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of providing support to teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT literate – experience using Reapit would be advantageous
  • Ability to learn, operate and train within the office on specialist systems
  • Time management skills
  • Team player
  • Quality focused
  • Full UK driving licence and own car.

This role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract, however, there may be the opportunity for the role to go permanent for the right individual.

The salary for this role will be up to £30,000Our client offers a highly competitive rewards package including group pension, flexible benefits, referral schemes and generous annual leave. They are also supportive of funding ARLA training and career progression.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm and you will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
