Are you an experienced senior sales negotiator looking for something a little different?
Our client is a highly respected residential managing agent based in Oxted, responsible for the management of the property portfolio of one of the UK’s largest private landlords. They currently have a superb opportunity for a hardworking and skilled individual to join their residential sales team, responsible for managing the assets within the portfolio.

Responsibilities will include:
Residential property valuation
- Carrying out inspection, desktop and telephone valuation research for individual properties and investment portfolios, as and when required.
Valuation reporting
- Liaising with agents and preparing comparables to present to the Head of Sales within an overview report. This will include not just comparable evidence but knowledge of immediate location, and any potential uplift in value options.
Property inspection
- Conducting pre-sales inspections, mainly in the Southeast but may cover other parts of the UK. Inspecting properties that are (or are to be) marketed, ensuring that they are fit for sale and arranging minor works where needed. Creating a floorplan and noting any defects or anything that may affect the value of the asset both positively and negatively.
Sales management
- Responsible for instructing estate agents to value and market properties, ensure necessary correspondence/paperwork is sent out to agents and KYC documentation is completed.
Sales progression
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking and managing the sales process weekly (due to go on the market or where sales agreed) with marketing and selling agents and solicitors for updates.
Reporting
- Preparing and providing reports to the Head of Sales and Directors as required. Informing the Head of Sales of purchase offers.
The required skill sets for this role include:
- 2 years+ relevant experience within the property industry
- Experience within residential sales and sales progression
- Knowledge of QUBE Property Management software
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Good communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate a professional working manner at all times
- Have the flexibility to travel throughout the UK
- A full UK driving licence and own car.
Our client is offering an attractive basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000, plus an annual bonus. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.
