This is a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Lettings Administrator to join the City’s leading independent estate agency in Clerkenwell. Established over 30 years ago, our client is a niche, privately-owned company that has built a significant portfolio of residential development sales, landlords and private clients.
Working as part of a team, you will act as a central resource for all lettings departments in the processing of new deals through Reapit and Propoly, processing deposit returns, and booking checkouts for ‘let only’ & ‘rent collect’ landlords.

Key responsibilities:
- Receive success form & check for TOBs, land reg & AML checks
- Save interim reference reports in Reapit
- Send tenancy details to JMI
- Book any outstanding certs & inventory
- Forward completed references for the manager to review & landlord approval
- Generate draft tenancy agreements for the manager to approve
- Request & receive signing & move-in monies from tenants
- Final certification checks
- Execute agreements & send to all parties
- Send success form & separate PI to client accounts
- Email inventory to all, add meter readings to RPS, complete works orders
- Assist with deposit returns for ‘let only’ & ‘rent collect’ landlords
- Assist with booking check-outs for ‘let only’ & ‘rent collect’ landlords
- Welcome all visitors to the office and assist with any initial lettings & sales queries
- Maintain an accurate record of the allocation and movement of keys
- Facilities management: stationery, recycling, cleaning, alarms, etc.
- Help to ensure compliance by checking and renewing certification such as GSC, EPC, EICR and property licensing
- Generating and completing works orders
- Assist with marketing, including canvassing, window cards, boards, organising photos & floorplans, etc.
Requirements and skills:
- At least 2 years’ experience within residential property administration
- ARLA qualifications would be an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellence in terms of maintaining confidentiality
- Strong administrative, computer skills
- A strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to build long term relationships.
The salary on offer will be in the region of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. Benefits include 20 days holiday in the first year and additional day for each year worked up to five years, bank and public holidays, office closed between Christmas and New Year, AXA Employee Assistance Programme, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.
