Buckinghamshire is a county in south east England. The largest town is Milton Keynes in the north east which is densely populated and has direct train lines to London, as do High Wycombe, Amersham, Chesham and the Chalfonts. Some areas without direct rail links to London, such as around the old county town of Buckingham and Olney in the north east, are much less populous.
Bucks has many famous landmarks and locations, including Chequers, the Prime Ministers country residence, and Pinewood Studios.
The county is home to about 712,000 people with substantial residential growth in the centre. The property market ranges from lower to upper end dependant on location. You will find award-winning top-end estate agencies as well as a mix of successful large and small independents offering an eclectic mix of character properties, country homes, cottages, flats and other developments throughout the county.
