Oxfordshire is located in the South of England. The county town is the historic city of Oxford, which is home to the county’s most famous attraction, Oxford University. Other large villages and towns include Banbury, Bicester, Didcot and Henley-on-Thames.
There is plenty of open countryside around the cities and towns offering visitors a good mix of town and country. Oxfordshire attracts many visitors each year both from the UK and internationally. The housing market mainly consists of middle to high-end properties, which include stunning period houses, character homes and cottages. You will find corporate and small/large independent estate agencies in many town centres and highstreets throughout the county. There are a number of direct trains to London making it popular with commuters looking for a suburban lifestyle whilst still living within close proximity of the busy towns and cities.
