A rare opportunity has become available for a Accounts Assistant to join this boutique company. You will be joining this small, friendly team, and be responsible for credit control duties, financial reporting and ensuring the smooth running of the sales ledger.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accounts payable (staff expenses, payroll including commissions, invoices)
- Accounts receivable
- Payables and receivables matching and management in relation to tenants’ and landlords’ funds (payments/ invoices/ deposits)
- Daily bank reconciliation and client deposit account reconciliation
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts and reconciliations
- Posting of manual journals (including accruals and prepayments)
- Preparation of weekly cash flows and trade debtors / creditor listings including arrears management
- Support to office administration (insurance & certifications) and reporting
- Maintain good relationships with tenants and landlords in line with the company’s quality service
- Establishing processes to improve financial control and effectiveness.
Personal specification:
- Previous experience in a Assistant Accountant role
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- SAGE experience is a plus
- Strong IT skills including excel
- Can do attitude
- Organised individual.
This position comes a salary of c. £24,000, plus a discretionary bonus. Benefits include annual leave, all bank holidays, pension, wellbeing, and more.
This is a part-time, hybrid role. You will be working 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
