Job Description
A unique opportunity has arisen for an Estate Management Administrator to join a Private Family Estate comprising a range of residential, commercial, and agricultural property. The estate is managed by a dedicated management team based at the Estate Office, located in a rural location within walking distance of Beaconsfield.
The residential property portfolio includes a range of houses, cottages and larger farmhouses, the majority of which are listed or located within a conservation area.
In the first instance, your role will be to assist the Estate Manager in a diverse number of areas. You will be required to fulfil an administrative role providing cover for an approximate three-month period, although an efficient individual will immerse themselves in this role as a grounding for what can follow.
Beyond that initial period, there is a significant opportunity for you to develop into a key role, primarily supporting the Estate Manager as well as, on occasion, the Residential Property Manager. There is strong scope for progression and fully supported training in a RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) discipline. Beyond that, there is a very real opportunity for development into a future management role!
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of an extensive portfolio of residential, commercial, forestry, and agricultural holdings and buildings Maintaining strong relationships with owners, trustees,’ tenants and farming partners as well as promoting the estate as a film location and event venue
- Continually seeking successful unexploited revenue streams without negatively impacting on the core values of the wider estate
- Collaborating with the whole team as well as the owners and trustees to ensure that the company deliver a consistently high-quality service.
Personal specification:
- Previous experience is property is not required
- Educated to degree level
- Strong administrative skills
- A willingness to develop new skills and undertake relevant training as required
- IT literate
- First class customer service skills
- Be articulate and well presented
The salary on offer will be in the region of £28,000 to £32,000 dependent on your previous experience.
This is a Monday to Friday role. This is initially a temporary 3 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent for the right individual.
