Due to expansion via a significant acquisition and organic growth, they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their small and driven team. You will oversee the financial operations and contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process of the business. Your leadership should inspire confidence and drive the financials to achieve business goals, steering the company towards further growth and stability.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive financial knowledge ensuring optimised efficiency in accordance with compliance
- Becoming the Money Laundering Reporting Officer, overseeing all anti-money laundering (AML) efforts
- Adhering to accounting standards, financial reporting, tax planning and budget management
- Identifying potential risks, financial, operational, or strategic, and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Explaining complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders and at all levels of the business. Building strong relationships across departments facilitates collaboration and ensuring that financial strategies are effectively implemented and understood
- Responsibility for ensuring the timely collection of aged debt
- Ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Allocating spend against P & L
- Overseeing lettings accounts, daily rent to landlords
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Using data to provide insightful analysis to support future acquisitions.
Personal specification:
- Experience within a financial management role
- Strong accounts experience
- IT literate – strong Excel skills, systems experience
- Knowledge of using Xero would be advantageous
- Excellent presentation skills
- A desire to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The salary on offer will be in the region of £50,000 to £70,000 dependent on previous experience.
This is a hybrid role where you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
