This long-standing, independent estate agency is currently looking to recruit an experienced Lettings Accounts Administrator to join its friendly team in Maidenhead.

Our client is currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join their dedicated team. This is a key role within their business, ensuring the smooth financial operation of their lettings and office accounts.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Daily monitoring and management of accounts-related emails
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing rent payments and deposit returns
  • Preparing landlord and tenant statements
  • Making BACS payments
  • Inputting and managing contractor invoices
  • Preparing remittance advice
  • Responding to queries from landlords, tenants, and suppliers
  • Managing quarterly and annual HMRC returns
  • Credit control, including chasing outstanding rent balances and advising landlords of any arrears
  • Inputting sales and purchase invoices into Sage
  • Preparing purchase invoices for payment
  • Renewing parking permits and supporting general administrative tasks.
Personal specification:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounts-based role
  • Experience in property lettings accounts is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with Sage and Axia (or similar lettings software) is beneficial – training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is a 4 day week. Working hours are from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

This position comes a salary of £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience based on a 30 hour week.
