Our client is an independent, family-owned estate agency based in Harrow, and is currently recruiting for a motivated Property Manager to join their busy team on a maternity contract.
With over 30 years’ experience, our client has developed an extensive knowledge of the local property market, enabling them to offer a wide-ranging service that is both friendly and professional as befits their reputation.

As the Property Manager you will be required to:
- Ensuring rental payments are received in a timely manner, where they are not received you will be required to chase and update the landlord
- Preparing and sending landlord income statements
- Applying for Selective and HMO licenses
- Setting up files and tenancies
- Ensuring managed properties are compliant
- Problem solving with tenants and landlords
- Arranging quotes and works with contractors and liaise with landlords
- Ordering appliances
- Dealing with landlord appointed companies (HomeServe/British gas etc.)
- Arranging and conducting tenancy inspections
- Dealing with out of hours emergency calls, rota’s with two other members of staff
- Block Management – sending out service charge and ground rent demands
- Dealing with maintenance of communal areas in managed blocks.
Personal specification:
- At least 1 years’ experience within residential property management
- ARLA / NFoPP would be beneficial
- Good understanding of current lettings legislation
- Detail-oriented with organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver exceptional customer service
- Proficient in using computer software
- Full UK driving licence and own car.
This is a 9 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend.
The salary for this property management role will be between £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include company pension, events, on-going training and development opportunities, and more! Free parking is available.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 6pm, Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.
