Our client is a boutique independent estate agency with a bespoke reputation due to their integrity, transparency, and impeccable service levels. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to join their office in Chelsea where you will support the group operations director. You will assist with the day-to-day functions of the lettings and property management department, organising management of the 120 unit lettings portfolio, and ensuring compliance at all times.
It is essential that you have at least 2 years’ experience working as a property manager for a top-end brand, where you would have been exposed to high net worth individuals. If this sounds like you, please get in touch!
Responsibilities will include:
- General day to day property maintenance organisation, liaising with tenants, contractors and updating landlords
- Updating all computer systems relating to property management
- Helping management of larger projects and refurbishment projects
- Organising property inspection visits and reporting to landlords
- Visiting newly managed properties and producing management blueprint for
- Ensuring certification compliance
- Future growth- attending MA’s where needed to discuss the company’s USP and how the property management team works
- Helping new deals with organising pre-tenancy maintenance
- Tenancy renewals, negotiating renewals and producing documentation
- Tenancy terminations, sending out paperwork, organising end of tenancy procedures
- Dealing with inventory check outs and deposit returns
- Dealing with other ad hoc tenancy changes ie. changes of sharer, surrenders, annual rental increases, contractual changes.
Personal specification:
- Experience within residential property management
- ARLA/NFoPP would be preferred (the company will put you through the exams after your probationary period if required)
- Educated to degree level
- High level of attention to detail
- First-class customer service skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with high-net-worth clients
- Ability to learn new skills and problem solve
- Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
- FixFlo management dashboard experience would be advantageous
- Strong work ethic
- Proactive.
The salary for this role will be in the region of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications. The company also offers private medical insurance after the probationary period as well as other exciting benefits.
